These collections are the works of local artist Pat Gauvin and will be on display in the exposition room of the Lamèque church from 10:00 am to 4:00pm from July 7th to August 16th.

19th Saint-Pie X parish bazaar in Pigeon Hill.

The Ste-Bernadette-Soubirous parish in St-Sauveur will be hositng its annual bazaar from July 3rd to the 5th.

To celebrate Saint Anne's Day, the Saint Anne's parish in Listugui, Quebec will be organising a novena as well as several masses. During these celebrations there will also be dinners, games for children and the religious gift shop will be open.

Father Edmond Chamberlain of Winton Cres., Bathurst, passed away accidently in Bathurst on Thursday June 4, 2015 at the age of 81.
The body will rest after 2 p.m. Monday, June 8th 2015, at Elhatton’s Funeral Home, Bathurst.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday afternoon June 9, 2015 at 2 p.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St., Bathurst.
Visiting hours are Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 at Elhatton`s Funeral Home, Bathurst and Tuesday from the Sacred Heart Cathedral from 11 a.m. until time of Funeral.
For this, the Year of Consecrate Life, a mass presided by His Excellency Bishop Daniel Jodoin will be celebrated on the Feast of The Most Sacred Heart, Friday, June 12th 2015 at 2:00pm at the Sacred Heart Cathedral in Bathurst. This celebration will pay homage to the many religious orders who have worked within our Diocese. Everyone who wishes to partake in this celebration are welcome!
This year, 2015, is the centennial of the death of Msgr Marcel-François Richard, founder of the "Monument national des acadiens" the acadian national monument, also known as the Monument Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption (Our Lady of the Assumption Monument).
