We are happy to announce that Father Wade has undergone his operation this past Wednesday, March 25th, 2015 at the Saint-John hospital.
His quaduple bypass went well. He is now out of the hospital and is recovering well. He will be taking a well deserved rest.
Our prayers are with him and we are anxious for his return!
The Chrism Mass is a very important celebration for our diocesan church. The faithful and priests of the Diocese gather with their Bishop to celebrate Eucharist and the consecration of the Sacred Chrism, the oil of Baptism and the oil of the sick which will be used in the various parishes. As well, the priests of the Diocese renew their promise to the Bishop and to serve the Diocese.
Pope Francis invites all Catholics the world over to a 24 hour Adoration which will take place from Friday, March 13th at 5:00pm to Saturday, March 14th at 5:00pm.
Due to the renovations at the Cathedral, these 24 hours of Adoration will be held at the Holy Family Church. His Excellency, Bishop Jodoin will proceed to the exposition of the Blessed Sacrament at the Holy Family Church on Friday, March 13th at 5:00pm. The 24 Hours of Adoration will end with a bilingual mass held on Saturday, March 14th at 4:00pm.

The Year of Consecrated Life will be celebrated from November 29, 2014, until February 2, 2016, World Day for Consecrated Life.
Pope Francis announced this special initiative in November 2013 , to offer the Church an opportunity to thank and celebrate the men and women who vow or promise to consecrate their lives to God.
Throughout the following months our parishes are encourages to celebrate this event to offer an occasion to reflect on the unique role and importance that consecrated life has in the Church.
