The Year of Consecrated Life will be celebrated from November 29, 2014, until February 2, 2016, World Day for Consecrated Life.

Pope Francis announced this special initiative in November 2013 , to offer the Church an opportunity to thank and celebrate the men and women who vow or promise to consecrate their lives to God.

Throughout the following months our parishes are encourages to celebrate this event to offer an occasion to reflect on the unique role and importance that consecrated life has in the Church.
