Last weekend, Msgr Jodoin celebrated Eucharist with the parishionners of the Saint Gabriel the Archangel and Saint John the Evangelist Christian communities.

News from the diocese of St John NB  
          The bishop of the Diocese of Saint Johh, Msgr Christian Riesbeck, CC, informed us that he appointed the Rev. Dr. Michael McGowan as Spiritual Advisor to the Latin Mass Community of the Diocese of Saint John, effective immediately. Father McGowan provides Mass, the other sacraments, and pastoral ministry to the faithful of the Diocese who wish to worship in the Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite.  
          The first Mass in the Extraordinary Form was held at 12:30 pm on Sunday, April 18, 2021. The Mass in latin in the Extraordinary Form is now offered every Sunday at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Fredericton. Those interested in attending this Mass on a regular basis are invited to register by contacting the parish by email: olfatima1962@gmail.com

Obituary Notice
On Friday, Arpril 30th 2021 at the Lamèque hospital, Mrs Raymonde Haché, sister of Father Edmond Richar, passed away. She was the widow of Raymon A. Haché, deceased, from Shippagan. Visits to the Salon Bulger funural home in Lamèque were possible starting at11:30am today, May 4th. The funeral was held today at 2pm in the Saint-Jérôme church in Shippagan on an invite only basis. We extend our sincere condolances to Father Richard and his family.

On April 30th, 2021 a total sum of 18 169.50$ was received in pre-authorized donations that were transfered to the participating parishes. 
Vox Maris
Starting May 14th, the Diocese of Bathurst will offer a monthly electronic publication entitled “Vox Maris”. This monthly publication will share diocesan and parish news as well as resourcing articles for those who wish to deepen their faith and enrich their Christian life. “Vox Maris” will be sent to subscribers on a monthly basis at mid-month.  If you wish to receive “Vox Maris”, you can subscribe by sending an email with the mention “Subscribe to Vox Maris” to jenniferp@nb.aibn.com.
