A little reminder ! Do not forget the information sessions to help with the arrival of missionnaries to our diocese.
  • Tuesday, May 28 at 6:30pm in the basement of the Beresford chruch ; 
  • Wednesday, June 5 at 5pm in the basement of the Lamèque chruch. 
To better prepare the sessions please confirm your presence by communication with Mrs. Pauline Vienneau at (506) 546-1420.
Diocesan Collection for the Diocesan Retreat Center : The collection will be on the weekend of June 15 and 16. LAt the last priest's council meetingit was decided that a diocesan collection would be passed to help the Diocesan Retreat Cetner. We have sent you a remittance slip for the collection.  
Saturday, June 1, 2019, Msgr Jodoin will welcome Father Ronaldo Lino Cordeiro, member of the Palavra Viva community who will be the rector of the Sainte-Anne-du-Bocage shrine in Caraquet.
From June 1 to June 5, 2019, the team from Sel et Lumière will be in our diocese. The team will travel to various parts of the diocese and film different people. The TV channel Sel et Lumière will then present a broadcast about our diocese.
News of our priests
June 15, Msgr Jean-Yves Molinas will be leaving our diocese after his three year term with us as rector of the Sainte-Anne-du-Bocage shrine in Caraquet. Msgr Molinas will be returning to France where he will be rector of a grand seminary.  The employees of the Bishop's Residence organised a celebration to thank him for his years of ministry to the Diocese of Bathurst. Thank you Msgr Molinas and may you continue to flourish with your ministry.

Feast of Pentecost:  On the 9th of June, at the cathedral of Bathurst, a bilingual service will be celebrated,   from 2 pm  to 4 pm  followed by a light lunch. 
Father Anthony of Lamèque will be the animator. Everyone is welcomed.
Mass for "flambistes"  Monday, June 10 at 7:30pm in the sacristie of the Inkerman church. Celebrated by Father Léon Robichaud with the theme < Accroche-toi à ce qui est bon > (Hang on to what is good)
