Easter Message from our Bishope Évêque

We are now experiencing our spiritual spring, Holy Week. All united to Christ, we will gradually move from darkness and death to light and eternal life! From despair to hope! From hatred to love! May this blessed time transform our hearts and allow us to live fully as disciples of Christ, inhabited by the joy of Easter, the joy of the resurrected. A joy to be shared with all those who are hungry and thirsty for light and hope, for love and for life ! I wish you a very happy Easter and may the Risen Lord bless you !

Construction of the new chruch in Bas-Caraquet : It was in the company of close to 200 peolple Thursday evening at the "Escale des Jeunes" school that Msgr Daniel Jodoin, assisted by senior claims expert for the Ecclesiastical Insurance Company, Ms Geneviève McEachem, presented the plans for the construction of the new church for the Christian community of Saint-Paul in Bas-Caraquet. The people present were surprised and happy to see the magnificent work done by the architects. The church will serve as a place of worship, a community center and a place for assistance during crisis. A first in New Brunswick. The people were presented a global view of the new church.
