In the afternoon of Tuesday, February 4th, 2020 at the Bathurst airport, Bishop Jodoin and Father Wesley Wade welcomed the three missionary priests of the Rogationists of the Heart of Jesus congregation. Father Jean-Pierre Ntabwoba, Father Blaise Wito Mwaruro and Father Étienne Ramses Same arrived from Africa (from the Congo, Rwanda and Cameroun) after a two-day journey. We are happy to welcome them to our Diocese!
After having rested Diocesan Retreat Center Tuesday night, they were greeted at the Bishop's Residence on Wednesday by Bishop Jodoin and the Diocesan Staff. During dinner, Father Blaise was wished a Happy Birthday. At the end of the day, Bishop Jodoin accompanied the missionnaries to the Saint-Léolin rectory where they will be staying while with us. Father Jean-Pierre, Father Blaise and Father Ramses will minister in the Marie-L'Immaculée parish. They will also be asked to serve other Christian communities of the Acadian Peninsula from time to time.
